There are many discussions in this day and age when it comes to the size of the penis.

Strangely enough many people are not aware of the situation when it comes to self-confidence and all with relation to the penis size in most men.

That is why so many people, including leading researchers in sexual therapy are discussing the issue.

They are looking for ways for these men, who have a complex regarding the size of their penis, to have some kind of peace of mind that will allow them to lead a more normal life with the penis that they have.

While this may sound strange to a good many people, it is completely normal for those that are seeking to find a more pleasurable sexual relation with their chosen mate. That may just be nothing more than a simple mental issue but they do not think so.

It has been proven that penis size or the lack there of is directly related to the self-confidence that many men have. The lack of self-confidence is normally associated with a trauma of some kind.

Many of the experts believe that it could have been from the teen years when many of the young men are for the first time showering with other teens after gym class. This is an area where much trauma can occur with the teen and cause many problems. The survey of men about their penis size is staggering when you look at the results.

Of over one thousand men, more than ninety percent believed that they had a below normal penis in relation to other men. That is very strange indeed because of the fact that many men were in fact above the normal length and girth of the penis size chart but they had the complex that did not allow them to see it.

Once again the experts believe that this is nothing more than a mental issue that is created when many people are told that their penis size is small. Then you must take into consideration that the penis will continue to grow as long as the body is growing, normally well into the teen years.

This time is normally known as puberty and will allow the penis to reach its predetermined size. The size of the penis is actually decided well before puberty is reached. The genetic markers as provided by the man's parents are the deciding factors.

Once you have reached the size then the penis will stop growing as well as the rest of the genital areas. So you see that we really have no control over the size of our penis and there is little that you can do to change that fact.

However, of the men polled, those that believed that they had a small penis were also those that were known to watch large amounts of pornographic movies. This, according to experts, could be a big factor in why these men believe they have small or below normal penis length.
